Beauty Bar hosted its annual Drop Dead Gorgeous Zombie Beauty Pageant, which also served as the starting point and ending point for Doug Sakmann’s NYC Zombie crawl (www.nyczombiecrawl.com). We’ll let the pictures do the talking, noting that burlesque performer, pin-up model, photographer and suicide girl Bettina May took the prize! There’s still fake blood on the ceiling. The Tiswas weekly launch this past Thursday marks the pairing of New York City‘s longest running rock party (which in turn inspired many later and current parties) and one of the longest operating rock and roll bars.
